2. I finally got my 2nd shot & boy, is my arm tired! The injection spot feels like I got punched.
3. I heard that comic book stores are having a rough time so if you can support, please do so. 2/
This book made me realize why I love enemies-to-lovers because you don't have to deal with the initial fear of disappointing the other person or feel like you have to act a certain way

(It also made me wonder if I might be autistic but WE'RE NOT ADDRESSING THAT ATM. I'M TIRED)4/ pic.twitter.com/h981L46e52
I'm only about 1/4 in but I'm liking how Ahmed is juggling everything. For example, Khayyam & Dumas talk about Islamaphobia, misogyny, abuse & other topics. They even talk about how Dumas was the son of a slave & still went "Oh, such exotic women! She's not like other girls!" 6/ pic.twitter.com/qityGYmazL

(Indentally, Dumas is still of a few Black generals in Europe)

Ahmed also cuts back to Leila, the woman who inspired the painting/poem by Byron (WHO WAS SCUM!). Ahmad is actively giving a voice to a woman who was treated like a sexy lamp/MacGuffin. It's a very thoughtful book.7/
