WBC on Twitter: 6/22/22

But time for books! This week, I went off script and read Spinster Sister by Marion Elise, which is about a group of women who have fallen on hard times (A widow, unexpected family death, etc) and need money so they decide to become highwaywomen to make ends meet. 2/

I also loved how Seb has his brother & BFF to take him to task when he's being a butthead. OH, and two characters are Black! Seb's friend & one of the Highwaywomen are biracial, which adds to the discussion of the privilege of rich, white men vs everyone else 4/

I haven't gotten further in my other books but after I send some emails, I'm logging offline & focusing on reading. Last week was rougher than usual so my focus was out of wack.
