WednesdayBookClub 02/01/23

Hello and welcome to WednesdayBookClub. I hope you all are safe and warm in your corner of the world. We're kinda iced in until tomorrow in TN so I'm using it productively.....

Resting is productive, shut up

So I finally finished Keep Dancing Lizzie Chu last week. Full review here but long story short, so many emotions and it's good.

This week, I'm reading Georgie All Along because I have the end of the week to review it and I've heard great things about it. I'm about 15 percent into the book and I'm enjoying it. Not much to report yet but I like Georgie and I feel for her struggle.

What about you all? Anything good?

WednesdayBookClub 1/24/23 Post-op Book Club

Welcome to yet another WednesdayBookClub written on a Tuesday afternoon. I got a root canal Monday and while I'm feeling okay enough that eating soft solid food is okay, it's Shark Week and I'm a sleepy baby. Now that we've gotten that bit of oversharing out of the way, ONWARDS TO TALKING ABOUT BOOKS!!

WednesdayBookClub: 1/11/23

Welcome to this week's book club, everyone!! In honor of one book clubber tagging me in this yesterday and me walking to 46 texts about the Bad Batch this morning, this feels like a fitting image for this week's book clubs.

Let's get started.

GJ's Ten Favorite Reads of 2022

I'm going to be honest with you, dear reader. I have no idea how to start this post. In all of my book reading years, even in all of the years where I ran a book club, I think this is my first official Top Ten post. I've listed off my favorite reads of the year but doing a full formal one with trigger warnings and a mini-review? Nah but I like the idea of testing my skills and warming up my writing muscles so let's do this

A slightly different take on Book Club

Heads up: This post is gonna talk about grieving and death so if this isn't your jam, please skip to when you see "In Lighter News...
