Hello and welcome to book club! So recently I was talking to a friend about listening to music while reading so I decided to ask you all: What are you listening to while you reading? Or are you one of those people who can't listen to music?
Honestly, I hate silence so I'm usually listening to music throughout the day.
I tend to listen to more chill music when I'm reading (*Cough* when I'm actually reading*Cough*). Some example would probably like this song Samurai Champloo soundtrack or this one from one of my new favorite artists. The trick for me is something I can bop my head too but not try to do my own personal concert to. This one is probably good example
As for reading, not much reading. My power went out Thursday night so Friday, I was at my aunt's house, watching movies and catching up on sleep. Power came back Friday night but I decided to stay over so this weekend was cleanup and catchup. Then Monday was my yearly checkup where they stuck me so to emotionally recover, I watched another movie.
Update: Had to sit with Gizmo (Great-nephew) while he was sleep so I got about 10% into History Lessons. We're still in the worldbuilding phase and having to listen to a bunch of history tangents but I'm willing to stick with it. I also foresee a possible love interest with a former cop turned bookstore owner (Who quit after reading more about the abusive prison system) so very curious if the writer threads that needle
