This week, I tried to get into All For One but got about 10% in & couldn't quite get into it. Which is totally on me. It's just one of those "Not the right book for me but I'm thankful it's here" book. I'm actually tempted to try it again later when I'm in a different mood 2/

I also loved how Seb has his brother & BFF to take him to task when he's being a butthead. OH, and two characters are Black! Seb's friend & one of the Highwaywomen are biracial, which adds to the discussion of the privilege of rich, white men vs everyone else 4/

A thing I loved about the book is how surprisingly honest our leads were. Crispin was a scoundrel but hardly a liar & Jane, despite everything, tries to be honest with him. About 40% in, she confesses that it was a marriage of convenience & gradually tells even more 2/

By that, it allows him the chance to figure out who he was himself but still stops more misunderstandings. Seriously, I highly recommend this book, it was a blast.

Dare circumvents this by making the two girls (Our MC's wards) the weirdest, greatest kids. I'm 65% in & the oldest girl has pickpocketed something at least 3 times and the younger keeps killing her doll (Dropsies, smallpox, leprosy, etc) and holding funerals on a daily basis. 6/

I mean, it's still awkward for me because FOR THE LOVE OF GLOB, MAKE SURE YOU LOCK THE DOOR FIRST but it's a blast. Highly recommend it solely because Dare keeps writing "I'm not being thirsty, I'm a scientist doing science stuff" heroines & it's never not funny. Great stuff. 7/

I DNF'd the Silk: The Life of Cindy Moon once I realized that it would be more moody than I wanted. I picked up She-Hulk: Deconstructed. Only in the 2nd issue but enjoying it. Also, this is the 2nd comic I've read that's post Civil War II & um, wow, I can only see the aftermath2/
