Welcome to WednesdayBookClub, everyone. Last week, I was all out of spoons so Bri took over for me. Am I back to full HP? LOL, Never, it got up to 90 degrees yesterday and I hate everything already. But we're moving so that's good!

Welcome to WednesdayBookClub and HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO THE BLOG!! Yes, we have past the one-year mark of me realizing that running WednesdayBookClub for an actual 1/3 of my life counts as "A blog" and that I should probably back all of this up before I lose said blog for the third (?) time. (RIP to the GOAT, the Observation. #GoneButNotForgotten)
"I'm not a book blog. This is my long established digital book club where I regularly post about the books I'm reading, retweet about book sales and stalk numerous writers for more info about upcoming releases....Oh, I might be a book blog."

Me: Why doesn't anyone tell me that I'm actually doing stuff and not just goofing off?

Mom: Because I know you need to discover this yourself because if I tell you, then I'm lying.
Me:......Stop saying things that makes sense
Hello and Welcome to this week's WednesdayBookClub, everyone. Today's book club has been sponsored by me! Cuz I'm about to plug a personal project in here
A while ago, I wrote a short story for an anthology. It took a little longer than expected but it's coming!! The Kickstarter goes live is May 1st.The theme is Saudade, a word that translates roughly to the feeling of melancholic nostalgia. Here's the link if anyone is curious about it: Saudade Kickstarter. The crew at Critical Mass RW has been amazing and I'm really proud of the work we've done.
Now that I've done that, let's talk about books!!
WednesdayBookClub, everyone!! I hope everyone is doing okay today and have had a good book-reading week!
As for reading, I'm back into Amelia Peabody. I'm about 50 percent into it and having a BLAST. Ramses is a chaos gremlin and I love him. I love how Emerson is a sucker for his son while Amelia is just suspicious of him at all times. He's just amazing and these books make me so happy. I don't even really care about the murder because I'm like "How is Ramses gonna nearly kill himself now?". It's great and I can't wait to see him grow up.
I'm also plotting out my next trip to the library. I'll likely pick up some comics but I don't know which ones yet.
What about you? Any good reads this week?
Welcome to WednesdayBookClub, gang. Spring is here in my neck of the woods! We have more greenery, some recent tornado warnings and my mom came home and found a frog on the front door. All we need is some lizard sightings and we're set.
Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager and NetGalley for giving me an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own
